To avoid creating an orphaned account (isolated and not part of any team), ensure that you only join the platform via an email invitation link.
Each newly invited user will receive a unique link by email that they can click to accept and join the team.
Example:
Once the link is clicked, it will bring up a page with a green banner saying “We found your invitation to the WCB Alberta Service-Provider!”

Click Join with Azure AD. You will be taken through the Microsoft login and prompted to log in with your existing Microsoft Azure AD credentials.
Security Note: Azure AD passwords never go through the Acuspire platform, and are routed directly to the Microsoft API. Acuspire does not store any passwords.
Lifemark and CBI Users Only:
Fill in Name, Email Address, Password, confirm acceptance of terms and click Register.
External email addresses (non-WCB) will receive an email with a 6 digit code to confirm the address is correct and able to receive email. To verify the account, either the code can be entered or the Continue button can be clicked as a shortcut.
