Uploading a Resume

πŸ•’ Note: It takes ~15 minutes to index a newly uploaded resume before it appears in matches and email alerts. Advanced Search is able to show resumes immediately.

Q: What format of document is accepted?

A: The WCB Acuspire platform accepts standard text based documents:

  • Microsoft Word (.docx, .doc)
  • Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
  • Open Document (.odt)
  • Rich Text Format (.rtf)
  1. Click the Upload Resume button in the top right corner of the interface.

  3. Simply drag and drop the document. It will take a few seconds for the algorithm to scan the document and check the information.

  5. Enter the Claim Number. This is a numeric ID to reference the Worker internally. The Claim Number number is immediately encrypted by a WCB server into a Client ID that is used as a visible reference to employers.

  7. Job Preferences - enter Worker preferences, including current location, where they would like to work, Position Level, Employment Type and Compensation. Compensation is stored privately and never shown to Employers. Either Hourly Rate or Annual Salary may be selected.

Additional Preferences is an optional button that can be clicked to jump to another screen to fill out further details. The Worker and Employer must both enter the additional preferences for there to be a match.

  1. Click β€œContinue” or β€œSee Job Matches” to instantly see jobs currently available in the market. Please note that quality of results depends on the criteria provided together with the availability. Click the Internal Jobs toggle if you would like to see exclusively jobs from the WCB Acuspire platform. You can also adjust the β€œWithin (km)” field to specify a radius to search for jobs around the city or town.
